Paula Hawkins

Paula Hawkins worked as a journalist for fifteen years before turning to novel writing. She grew up in Zimbabwe and moved to London in 1989. Her debut thriller, *The Girl on the Train*, became an international bestseller, was translated into more than 40 languages, and was adapted into a film starring Emily Blunt. Her other novels include *Into the Water* and *A Slow Fire Burning*.
