Paul Sahner

Paul Sahner (1944–2015), born in Bockum-Hövel in Westphalia, was a German journalist and author. He worked for publications including Bild, Bunte, Hörzu, Abendzeitung and Stern. In 1992, he became editor-in-chief of the men’s magazine Penthouse, and from 2001 to 2014 he was a member of the editorial board of Bunte. Over the course of his journalistic career, Sahner conducted more than 3,000 interviews with public figures. He wrote numerous biographies of artists, including Udo Jürgens and Karl Lagerfeld. His autobiography, Ich hatte sie fast alle, was published shortly after his death.
