Paul Nizon

Paul Nizon, born in Bern in 1929, initially worked as chief art critic for the Neue Zürcher Zeitung before becoming a freelance writer in 1962. He wrote novels and short stories that have been translated into several languages. His literary work received numerous honors, including the 2010 Austrian State Prize for European Literature and the 2014 Swiss Grand Prix Literatur for his complete works.
