Paul-Henri Campbell

Paul-Henri Campbell was born in Boston, USA, in 1982. He studied Catholic theology and classical philology in Frankfurt am Main and at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth. Campbell writes poetry and prose in German and English and has worked as a translator and editor of an international edition of the journal DAS GEDICHT. His publications include the poetry collections Space Race (2015), nach den narkosen (2017), and innere organe (2022), as well as the interview book Tattoo & Religion. Die bunten Kathedralen des Selbst (2019). For nach den narkosen, he received the Bavarian Arts Promotion Award in 2017 and the Hermann Hesse Promotion Award in 2018. In 2022, he received the Alfred Gruber Prize at the Merano Poetry Prize.
