Paul A. Levine (1956–2019) was an assistant professor and Holocaust researcher. His work focused in particular on how neutral Sweden responded to the Nazi crimes in Europe. He published the book *From Indifference to Activism: Swedish Diplomacy and the Holocaust, 1938–1944* on this subject. Levine was born in New York and died in Berlin.
