Oxana Wassjakina

Oxana Vasyakina was born in 1989 in Ust-Ilimsk on the Angara River in Siberia. She attended the Gorky Literature Institute and worked as an author, curator, and feminist activist. Her first novel, *The Wound*, was published by Blumenbar in 2023. She expanded it with two further volumes, *The Steppe* and *The Rose*, forming a trilogy about her family.
