Outi Kaden

Outi Kaden was born in 1966 into a German-Finnish family. After finishing school, she initially completed commercial training. Following the birth of her two sons, she turned to writing and illustrating children’s books. From 2002 onward, she worked as a freelance illustrator and author. Her work was influenced in part by the summers she spent with her grandparents in rural Finland, where she experienced nature and country life with her sister.
