Orlando Hoetzel, born in 1971, studied communication design in Essen and Paris and worked as an illustrator. During stays in Hamburg, Madrid and Paris, he discovered his passion for drawing while designing a fanzine. His work includes the illustrations for Alexander Pechmann’s The Library of the Seven Seas, as well as books created in collaboration with writer Verena Stegemann.
