Olivier Bocquet (born 1976) worked in a variety of jobs before becoming a comic-book writer, including petrol-station attendant, restaurateur, auditor and translator of instruction manuals. After working in television and writing two novels, he established himself as a comics scenarist. His work includes the series “La Colère de Fantômas” (from 2013, illustrated by Julie Rocheleau), a comics adaptation of three crime novels by Camilla Läckberg (“Fjällbacka”), the fourth volume of “Le Transperceneige,” and “Ailefroide, Altitude 3954” with Jean-Marc Rochette. With Brice Cossu, he created the series “FRNCK” and the “Spirou & Fantasio” special album “Der Triumph des Zyklotrop.” Other works include “Ladies with Guns,” “Le Métier le plus dangereux du monde” and a “Soda” album with Bruno Gazzotti.
