Olivia Vieweg

Olivia Vieweg (born 1987 in Jena) studied visual communication at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and was a scholarship holder at the Munich Screenwriting Workshop. She works as an author, artist and screenwriter for comics, graphic novels, books and film. Her publications include a comic adaptation of Mark Twain’s “Adventures of Huckleberry Finn,” “Antoinette kehrt zurück,” “Schwere See, mein Herz” and “Antigone.” Her horror comic “Endzeit” was adapted into a film; Vieweg wrote the screenplay and also adapted the story as a graphic novel. Her awards include the ICOM Award in 2010, an Egmont comics scholarship in 2012 and the Tankred Dorst Prize in 2015.
