Oliver Schneider

Oliver Schneider began his professional career as an officer in the German Bundeswehr, first serving with the paratroopers and later with the Kommando Spezialkräfte (KSK), Germany’s special operations command. He took part in several overseas missions. From 2006 onward, he worked as a consultant in security, risk and crisis management. As a kidnap-for-ransom consultant, he managed several kidnapping cases. His work took him, among other places, to Afghanistan, Algeria, Brazil, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Colombia, Mexico, Pakistan and the Caucasus. Schneider founded RiskWorkers GmbH in Munich.
