Olga Tokarczuk

Olga Tokarczuk, born in 1962 in Sulechów, Poland, is a Polish writer. She studied psychology in Warsaw. Her best-known works include *Flights* and *The Books of Jacob*. Her work has been translated into 37 languages. She received the 2018 Man Booker International Prize for *Flights*. *The Books of Jacob* won the Nike Award in 2015 and the Jan Michalski Prize in 2018. In 2019, Tokarczuk was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature.
