Norman Ohler

Norman Ohler (born 1970) is a German writer who has published several novels and works of nonfiction. His debut novel, “The Quota Machine,” was first published as a hypertext online in 1995 and is regarded as the world’s first internet novel. His other works include the novels “Mitte,” “City of Gold,” and “The Life Equation,” as well as the nonfiction book “Blitzed,” about the role of drugs under National Socialism. “Blitzed” was translated into more than 30 languages and appeared on the bestseller lists of The New York Times and Der Spiegel. Ohler received the Palatinate Prize for Literature.
