Nora Hilgert

Nora Hilgert is a historian with a doctorate and an author. She worked as a freelance historian specializing in twentieth-century film and television history. From 2009 to 2020, she served as managing director of the Association of Historians and Historians in Germany. Her dissertation on popular representations of law and order in the television crime series »Stahlnetz« and »Blaulicht« (1958/59–1968) was published in 2013. She subsequently led, among other projects, the »Weimar Rendez-vous with History« and worked at the Mühlhausen Museums.
