Nina Sahm

Nina Sahm was born in Heilbronn in 1980. She studied theater studies, German literature and English studies in Leipzig and Budapest, and worked as a dramaturg at municipal theaters as well as an editorial professional in publishing. Her debut novel, *Das letzte Polaroid*, was published in 2014. She has also published short stories and essays in magazines and anthologies and translated Beatrix Potter’s *Peter Hase* children’s book series into German. In 2012, she received a workshop grant from the Jürgen Ponto Foundation, followed in 2014 by work grants from the Art Foundation of the State of Saxony-Anhalt and the Kloster Bergische Foundation.
