Nikolaus Blome (born 1963) is a journalist and author. From 2013 to 2015, he headed the Berlin office of Der Spiegel as a member of its editorial board. Until October 2019, he was deputy editor-in-chief of the Bild newspaper; in 2020, he took over RTL and n-tv’s politics department. Blome has published several books, including “Oben und unten. Abstieg, Armut, Ausländer – was Deutschland spaltet” (2019), co-written with Jakob Augstein.
