Nikki Giovanni

Nikki Giovanni was an American writer, poet, educator, and activist. She published numerous collections of poetry and essays as well as children’s books. Her works include *Bicycles: Love Poems* and the *Nikki Giovanni Poetry Collection*. She also served as a University Distinguished Professor at Virginia Tech.
