Niki Segnit

Niki Segnit initially worked as a marketing executive before discovering, in her early twenties, a passion for cooking and a fascination with flavour combinations. Her debut book, The Flavour Thesaurus, won, among other honours, the André Simon Award for Best Food Book and the Guild of Food Writers Award for Best Debut. It was also shortlisted for the Galaxy National Book Award and translated into several languages. Segnit wrote columns, features and reviews for British newspapers and periodicals including The Guardian, The Observer, The Times and The Sunday Times.
