Nicola Bardola, born in Zurich in 1959, studied German literature as well as Italian literature and philosophy in Bern, Munich and Zurich. From 1984 to 1999, he worked as an editor and as a library and publishing-house editor. He subsequently published as an author, literary and music critic, journalist and translator. His books include the novel “Schlemm,” biographies of Yoko Ono, John Lennon and Ringo Starr, and a 2009 book about the “Twilight” phenomenon, which was translated into several languages.
