Nick Reimer

Nick Reimer, born in 1966, studied energy and environmental engineering in Freiberg, Prague and Berlin. In 1989, he co-founded “Ökostroika,” an East German national environmental newspaper. He has worked as a journalist since 1993, including at Berliner Zeitung, Morgenpost and taz; from 2000 to 2011, he was a business editor at taz. Together with Toralf Staud, he received the Otto Brenner Prize for Critical Journalism in 2012 for the blog “Klima-Lügendetektor.”
