Nicholas Stargardt

Nicholas Stargardt, born in 1962 in Melbourne, Australia, is a historian of modern European history. He was a professor at the University of Oxford and a fellow of Magdalen College. His research focused on twentieth-century German history, particularly the social history of National Socialism. He published numerous works on these subjects; his book Children of Hitler’s War was published in German in 2006.
