Nicholas Fox Weber

Nicholas Fox Weber was born in Hartford, Connecticut, and studied at Columbia College and Yale University. He wrote around fifteen books, including biographies of Balthus, Le Corbusier, and Sigmund Freud, as well as The Bauhaus Group, The Clarks of Cooperstown, and Patron Saints. His essays and other writings appeared in exhibition catalogues and in publications including The New Yorker, The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, Le Monde, and Vogue. Weber was director of the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation.
