Nahlah Saimeh

Nahlah Saimeh, born in Münster in 1966, is a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy with a focus on forensic psychiatry. After studying medicine in Essen and Bochum, she worked in psychiatric hospitals and held senior positions, including that of medical director at a high-security forensic psychiatric clinic. As an expert witness, she focused in particular on assessments of criminal responsibility and dangerousness, as well as violent and sexual offenses. Saimeh has written and edited specialist books and has authored nonfiction books in the true-crime genre.
