Myriam Lacroix

Myriam Lacroix was born in Montreal to a Quebecer mother and a Moroccan father. She earned a BFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia and an MFA from Syracuse University. There, she served as editor-in-chief of Salt Hill Journal and received a New York Public Humanities Fellowship to create Out-Front, an LGBTQ+ writing group dedicated to expanding the possibilities of queer writing. George Saunders was among her mentors at Syracuse University.
