Moritz Pliquet, born in Dortmund in 1986, studied acting at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts. He worked at theatres in Wiesbaden, Mainz, Frankfurt, Göttingen and Marburg, including Schauspiel Frankfurt from 2010 to 2012 and the Deutsches Theater Göttingen thereafter. In 2013, he received a young talent award there. From 2008 onward, he narrated numerous audiobooks and could be heard in productions for Arte and ZDF. He also taught microphone speech at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts and at Hessischer Rundfunk.
