Mina Esfandiari (born 1985 near Hamburg) is a photographer, graphic designer, and author. Her biographically inspired work “miyaneh – dazwischen.”, about the lives of young women in Iran, received the Karl-Buchrucker Prize from Innere Mission München in 2012. She provided the photographs and design for Stephan Orth’s “Couchsurfing im Iran.” In 2017, she published the illustrated book “Iran – Tausend und ein Widerspruch,” which received the ITB Book Award. In “Von B nach B – Begegnungen auf dem Radweg Deutsche Einheit,” she explored German history and identity through photography.
