Milo Dor

Milo Dor was born in Budapest in 1923 to a Serbian physician and grew up in the Banat region and Belgrade. Arrested as a member of the resistance in 1942, he was taken to Vienna for forced labor in 1943. After the end of the Second World War, he worked as a freelance writer. His works include the Raikow Saga, Auf dem falschen Dampfer, Leb wohl, Jugoslawien, and Wien, Juli 1999. With Reinhard Federmann, he co-wrote several novels, including Internationale Zone. Dor died in Vienna in 2005. His work received numerous international prizes and honors.
