Mikita Franko

Mikita Franko was born in Kazakhstan in 1997. He initially studied medicine but abandoned his studies and turned to writing. Franko describes himself as an akyn, a Kazakh folk poet who also addresses political subjects. According to his own account, he learned to read at the age of three and to write at four.
