Michael Schwelien

Michael Schwelien (1948–2019) was a German journalist and author. He worked for many years as a reporter and editor at the weekly newspaper Die Zeit and served as its Washington correspondent from 1995 to 1998. Schwelien wrote biographies of Joschka Fischer and Helmut Schmidt, among other works.
