Michael Cunningham

Michael Cunningham, born in 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio, grew up in Pasadena, California. The American writer published several novels and short-story collections. His novel The Hours received numerous awards, including the Pulitzer Prize and the PEN/Faulkner Award, and was translated into 22 languages. The film adaptation, also titled The Hours, received an Academy Award.
