Menno Schilthuizen (born 1965) is a Dutch evolutionary biologist. His professional affiliations have included Naturalis, the Netherlands’ biodiversity research centre, and Leiden University, where he served as a professor of evolutionary biology. He has published numerous scholarly articles and popular science books and has written for publications including Natural History, New Science and Science, as well as the Dutch financial newspaper Het Financieele Dagblad.
