Melchior Imboden, born in Stans in 1956, began his career as a decorator. He later studied in the graphic design program at the School of Art and Design in Lucerne. From 1992 onward, he worked as a freelance graphic designer and photographer and taught photography and graphic design in Switzerland and abroad. His published photography books include “Nidwaldner Gesichter” and “Innerschweizer Gesichter”.
