Maurits de Bruijn

Maurits de Bruijn is a Dutch writer. He published his debut novel, Broer (German: Bruder), in 2012, followed by De achterkant van de zon (The Other Side of the Sun) in 2016. His nonfiction debut, Wie ich merkte, dass die Shoah nachts an meinem Bett steht, explores Jewish family history and the memory of the Shoah. De Bruijn also wrote columns and commentaries for the Dutch daily newspaper De Volkskrant.
