Mary Lynn Bracht

Mary Lynn Bracht is an American author of Korean descent. She studied creative writing at the University of London. During a 2002 trip to South Korea, she visited the village where her mother had spent her childhood and first learned about the so-called “comfort women.” Family stories and this encounter informed her debut novel, “Und über mir das Meer.”
