Mary Elise Sarotte

Mary Elise Sarotte is a historian. She teaches at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and is affiliated with Harvard’s Center for European Studies and the Council on Foreign Relations. Her book “Not One Inch” was named by Jürgen Osterhammel in the Süddeutsche Zeitung as one of the best books of 2022.
