Maruta Herding

Maruta Herding is a sociologist who conducted her doctoral research at the University of Cambridge. She was a research associate at the German Youth Institute. Her research has addressed young people, subcultures, Muslims in Europe, ideological and political extremism among adolescents, and radicalization prevention. Her book *Inventing the Muslim Cool* was based on her doctoral research at the University of Cambridge.
