Martin Wein

Martin Wein holds a doctorate in history and trained as an editor. His doctoral research examined urban development in the 19th and 20th centuries. He has worked as a journalist and author for numerous newspapers, magazines, and institutions, and has published more than 25 nonfiction books. Nordic travel is one of his main areas of interest. Wein also writes and photographs about the North; in Sweden, he particularly appreciates the vast forests and mountain landscapes, as well as the country’s fika culture.
