Martin Muser worked as a freelance author, dramaturge and lecturer. In addition to two crime novels, he wrote more than 50 screenplays for German television, mainly for crime series such as *Der Alte* and *Küstenwache*. As a children’s author, he published his debut novel *Kannawoniwasein – Manchmal muss man einfach verduften* with Carlsen in 2018. The book became the first of a three-volume series, and Muser received several awards for it.
