Martin Kaule

Born in 1979, Martin Kaule studied business informatics at the Verwaltungs- und Wirtschaftsakademie Berlin from 1999 to 2001. From 2001 onward, he documented sites of contemporary history through photography and, from 2005, organized educational, study and research trips across Europe. Between 2008 and 2015, he worked on digital projects at Ch. Links Verlag. In 2012, he was a founding member and board member of the association “Orte der Geschichte.” Kaule has published numerous nonfiction books and historical guides, including “Ostseeküste 1933–1945,” “Nordseeküste 1933–1945,” and “Faszination Bunker.”
