Martha Sophie Marcus

Martha Sophie Marcus (born in 1972 in Schaumburg district) studied German, education and sociology in Hanover, then spent two years in Cambridge. She grew up surrounded by numerous pets and books, and developed an early passion for literature. Her first historical novel, Herrin wider Willen, was published in 2010 and was followed by further novels. In autumn 2016, she received the Lüneburg District Cultural Promotion Award for literature.
