Marius Rimmele

Marius Rimmele was an academic staff member at the University of Konstanz and an assistant professor at the Institute of Art History at the University of Zurich. He also worked as a senior researcher in the National Research Center in the area of mediality at the University of Zurich. His research focuses include the meaning of images, media-related questions, and the functional dimensions of premodern images, particularly devotional practice and moral edification.
