Marion Kreimeyer-Visse

Marion Kreimeyer-Visse, born in 1964 in Recke, Westphalia, studied graphic design at Münster University of Applied Sciences, specializing in book illustration. From 1991 onward, she worked as a freelance illustrator for elementary school textbooks and developed numerous picture and nonfiction books. Her notable work includes illustrations for Ravensburger’s “Wieso? Weshalb? Warum?” series. For her illustrations, she created complex visual worlds as two-dimensional paper theaters with movable figures, which were then transformed into book pages.
