Marina Buzunashvilli was born in Vienna in 1981 and grew up in Berlin-Kreuzberg as the daughter of an Azerbaijani-Georgian family. In 2004, she began working at the agency Panorama3000 in accounting before moving into press relations and artist management. In 2012, she co-founded the music and film agency Musicism & Cinelove with a colleague. The agency later gave rise to the artist agency DIE MARINA in 2017. Buzunashvilli joined Sony in 2019, initially as Head of PR and from 2020 as Director of PR. In 2024, she became self-employed again.
