Marije Tolman

Marije Tolman, born in 1976, studied graphic arts, typography, illustration and design at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and at Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland. She works as an illustrator. Her books have received awards including the Bologna Ragazzi Award and the Troisdorf Picture Book Prize. The picture book “Der kleine Fuchs,” written by Edward van de Vendel, was nominated for the German Youth Literature Prize in 2021.
