Marieke Heimburger

Marieke Heimburger (born in Tokyo in 1972) studied literary translation for English and Spanish in Düsseldorf. She began translating English-language literature in 1998 and added Danish in 2010. The authors she has translated include Stephenie Meyer, Maya Angelou, Jussi Adler-Olsen, and Anna Grue. In 2022, she received the Barthold Heinrich Brockes Scholarship in recognition of her translation work.
