Marie Lu

Marie Lu (born 1984) became known as the author of the bestselling series Legend and The Young Elites. Her other successful works include the Warcross series. After graduating from the University of Southern California, she worked as an artist, designer and art director in the video-game industry, including at Disney Interactive Studios. She subsequently turned to writing full time. Before becoming a novelist, she worked in video-game design and illustration.
