Mariana Leky

Mariana Leky first completed an apprenticeship in the book trade and then studied cultural journalism at the University of Hildesheim. Her publications include the story collection “Liebesperlen” (2001) and the novels “Erste Hilfe” (2004), “Die Herrenausstatterin” (2010), and “Bis der Arzt kommt” (2013). Her 2017 novel “Was man von hier aus sehen kann” became a SPIEGEL bestseller, was translated into numerous languages, and was adapted for the cinema. Her book “Kummer aller Art,” published in 2022, also reached the SPIEGEL bestseller list.
