Maria Pasquale is a food and travel journalist, author, and PR, event, and social media strategist. The daughter of Italian parents, she was born in Melbourne and moved to Rome in 2011. Her writing has appeared in USA Today, Condé Nast, Fodor’s, CNN, and The Telegraph, among other publications. She is also known for her blog HeartRome, which has been read in more than 100 countries and featured by BBC Travel and Vogue. In 2021, the Italian newspaper La Repubblica named her one of Rome’s most influential travel experts. Pasquale has published several books about Italy.
