Margery Allingham

Margery Louise Allingham (1904–1966) was an English writer. She is best known for her detective novels and is regarded, alongside Agatha Christie, Dorothy L. Sayers and Ngaio Marsh, as one of the “Queens of Crime”, the four leading female authors of the Golden Age of detective fiction.
