Marei Pelzer

Marei Pelzer is a legal scholar and professor specializing in social work law and the law governing social institutions. From 2002 to 2018, she worked as a legal policy adviser for PRO ASYL and as an editor and co-publisher of the Grundrechte-Report, a report on fundamental rights. She also served on the board of the Pro Asyl Foundation from 2007 to 2018. In 2018, she took up a professorship. Her research areas include social work law, the law governing social institutions, social security and employment promotion law, social administrative law, and asylum and migration law.
